SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

Program Description

EquipSvc Fleet Management ("EquipSvc") is operated by RamerIT LLC and provides an SMS-based fleet communication service for construction companies. When enrolled, field crew members can text their fleet phone number to log equipment moves, report hours, report maintenance issues, and receive operational updates.

Message Types

You may receive the following types of messages:

• Move confirmations — when you log an equipment dropoff via text
• Hour meter reminders — if a move was logged without hours
• Maintenance alerts — PM due warnings and work order notifications
• Morning summaries — daily fleet activity digest (dispatchers)
• Query responses — answers to questions about equipment location, site inventory, and fleet status
• One-time passcodes — for phone number verification during account setup

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your role and fleet activity. Field crew typically send and receive 5–15 messages per work day. Dispatchers may receive additional daily summary and alert messages. You will not receive more than 20 messages per day unless you initiate a conversation.

How to Opt In

You are enrolled in EquipSvc SMS only after your company administrator confirms that you explicitly consented to receive SMS messages from EquipSvc Fleet. During user creation or bulk import, the administrator must check a required unchecked consent box before your phone number can be added to the system.

After enrollment, your first message will be a welcome text that includes HELP, STOP, and message and data rate disclosure information.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to your fleet phone number. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You can also ask your company administrator to remove your phone number from the system.

If you later want to receive messages again, reply START or UNSTOP to resubscribe.

Costs

EquipSvc does not charge for SMS messages. However, standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Privacy

Your phone number is used solely for EquipSvc fleet communication within your company. RamerIT LLC does not sell, share, or rent your phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. Message content (equipment moves, hours, maintenance reports) is stored as part of your company's fleet records and is accessible to your company's administrators.

Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is supported on all major US wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and their MVNOs.
